The placiibo App uses a small subset of Firebase Services to collect anonymous data that helps with identify stability issues and crashes and identify what causes them.
Additionally it helps understand how placiibo is being used.
This information is anonymous unless you explicitly choose to share your unique identifier with the developer to diagnose a specific issue.
Additionally Apple provides developers with anynomous performance metrics during normal operations.
If you're using a TestFlight version of placiibo then Apple provides a little more information depending on what you yourself have explicly submitted.
Aside from crashlogs, collected data can consist of feedback comments, device information and screenshots in addition to your name and email address that you've provided to receive an invite.
Apple's TestFlight Terms of Service can be found here.
Apple's explainer on TestFlight data can be found here.
Lastly if you've signed up for a TestFlight beta test of placiibo then your information is collected with TypeForm to derermine eligibility for the TestFlight beta program.
Data collected includes name, email address, age, devices at your disposal and other eligibility questions.
The data is used to identify stability issues and crashes in placiibo and to improve placiibo.
For insofar TestFlight data usage doesn't overlap with what is mentioned above; data that is collected during signup for a TestFlight program is solely used to administer that program by virtue of determining eligbility and sending out invites.
Only the developer has access to this data when it comes to data that is stored locally.
Data that is stored remotely with one of the afforementioned services is only accessed by the developer insofar their respective privacy policies don't state otherwise (e.g. one of their policies might indicate one of their associates having access)
Any TestFlight related data is deleted at the end of that particular TestFlight program.
Any data that is collected during sign up for a TestFlight program is automatically purged a month after collection.
If you no longer wish to test the app, you can delete yourself as a tester in the app’s Information page in TestFlight by tapping Stop Testing.
